We know everyone is busy for the Summer. So, we put some classes together with that in mind. Each class is offered once each month for June, July and August and is only one 3 hour session. No long term commitments. Just one class offered at 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. We need a minimum of 6 active Steelworkers for each class. So sign up and come on down. Intro to Word 2007 Part 1 Learn to create a basic document using Microsoft Word 2007. Class will also cover how to edit documents by locating and modifying text and how to format text and paragraphs. Tues, Jun 1

Free and Fun MS Photo Story Part 1 Photo Story 3 is a free download from Microsoft that can be used in digital storytelling projects with excellent results. In this class, students will learn how to download a free copy of Microsoft's Photo Story 3, how to use the application to put together a digital storytelling project, how to add photos and create effects with pan and and zoom controls, and save a story to play on your computer, send in an e-mail, or burn to a DVD. Free and Fun MS Photo Story Part 2 Using Photo Story 3, students will use the application to add additional effects to their digital storytelling project. Social Networking-SKYPE This class will give students a better understanding of the world of social networking. In this class, students will set-up a SKYPE account, see the benefits of making voice calls over the internet, understand when fees apply and what calls are free, and understand the additional features of using SKYPE, instant messaging and file transfer and video conferencing.
