The USW/USS Granite City Works Learning Center offers a wide variety of customized classes in computers, small engine repair, HVAC, Genealogy, stained glass, and many other areas of interest. Click on Class Schedules to view our current and upcoming classes. This list is UPDATED often, so please check back periodically.

If there is a class you would like to take but don't see on our schedule, please contact us and we will try to add the class. We also encourage Steelworkers to Build a Class by getting fellow interested Steelworkers together so that we can have the class of their choice. All classes must meet ICD guidelines.

Students are urged to register as soon as possible for any class that interests them. Remember classes without sufficient participation will have to be cancelled. Don't miss out, Register Early!

You can register by telephone at 451-3337, by email on the registration page of this web site, or just by dropping by the Learning Center at 2014 State Street Monday through Thursday.

You will receive a confirmation by email, mail, or telephone from the USW/USS Granite City Works Learning Center about one week (if time allows) before your class starts. If you feel you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, please notify us immediately so that other students can be enrolled or the class can be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.

Active Steelworkers are eligible for all classes.

Retirees and spouses (family members) are eligible to attend most of our classes within established program guidelines. Call the ICD Program Coordinator for complete details governing participation.

Classes with the Steelworkers Only notation are limited to active Steelworkers only.
